Thousands of NFL fans are affected by a
terrible condition, which flares up every single week. Of course, I'm
talking about the lack of NFL Sunday Ticket. The inability to choose
which game to watch can cause some terrible side-effects, like being
forced to watch a Browns game, or catching the score of your team's
matchup only through game breaks. With these poor souls in mind, The
Redshirt Freshmen present intriguing storylines of the week, with the
hope that this life-affecting condition can soon be alleviated for
fans around the world.
KC @ DET: Are the Lions really a
playoff contender? Can the Chiefs, one year removed from a division
title, really be that bad?
OAK @ BUF: Really? One of these teams
will be 2-0 to start the season?
BAL @ TEN: Will Baltimore, after last
week's dismantling of the Steelers, emerge as a power in the AFC? Is
it time to start worrying about Chris Johnson?
JAX @ NYJ: Can the Jets put four
quarters together, and show themselves as one of the better teams in
the AFC? Is Luke McCown really a starting quarterback in the NFL?
CLE @ IND: Does anybody think this is
going to be worth watching (other than residents of Indiana, Ohio,
and those that bet on the under)?
ARI @ WAS: Which one of these teams is
for real?
TB @ MIN: Is Tampa truly in trouble
after last year's surprising 10-win season? Can McNabb throw for more
than a couple dozen yards?
GB @ CAR: Can Cam Newton continue the
already impressive start to his career? How badly will Aaron Rodgers
destroy the Panthers D, especially with Jon Beason out?
CHI @ NO: Are the Bears for real?
Should the New Orleans D be relegated from the league, English
Premier League style?
SEA @ PIT: Is Pittsburgh really that
bad? Perhaps more alarmingly, is Seattle really that bad?
DAL @ SF: Can Tony Romo find another
way to lose a game? Will home field mean anything to San Fran while
facing a much better team?
SD @ NE: Will the Chargers finally have
a good start to the year? How many passing yards is too many?
CIN @ DEN: ... I have no intriguing
storylines/ questions for this game.
HOU @ MIA: Are the Texans finally
asserting themselves as a force in the AFC South?
PHI @ ATL: Will Atlanta, an NFC power
last year, start 0-2? Can Matt Ryan get back on track? Anything else
of note here? Oh, I guess you could wonder about Vick's return to
Atlanta...
STL @ NYG: Being a popular pick to win
the division, can the Rams avoid a 0-2 start in a tough away game?
Will the Giants show that it is, perhaps, a four-team race in the NFC
East?
